AATD1001 is the first-year entry point to the SoCIETIE Initiative — a transdisciplinary, for-credit ANU elective open to students from any degree. It’s a great choice if you’re early in your studies and want to build practical skills for creating positive social change.
Who it’s for
First-year undergraduate students with room for an elective. If you’ve already completed some study, AATD2001 or AATD3001 may suit you better.
How it works
First-year students follow the Skills Pathway, building capabilities through interactive KNoT workshops that you combine like building blocks. You’ll learn alongside students from across the University in a transdisciplinary environment.
Prerequisites and details
Prerequisites and the official course description are on the ANU Programs & Courses page for AATD1001.
