Inspiring Stories: Guest Talk and Project/Portfolio Presentations
We'll be joined by an ANU Honours student who will also share their work.
About this KNoT
Preparation
Some good prompts are:
- What was a highlight? What was a low-light? And what learning are you taking with you?
- What was the situation? What was the complication? What was your solution?
Not to freak you out, but there is a well-known competition called the 3-Minute Thesis, where PhD students condense their Thesis (usually more than 50,000 words) into a 3-minute talk. Search it up and check it out. If they can do it, so can you!
What You’ll Learn
How to Complete This KNoT
Writing your reflection
Most completion tasks ask you to reflect on what you did. For example prompts, sentence starters, and what a strong reflection covers, see Guidance on Reflective Practice. Your completed tasks come together at the end of the semester in the KNoT Completion Evidence.
