About

Good Omen Goodeze (GOG) is a Canberra-based grassroots charity dedicated to enhancing healthcare and community outcomes through purposeful making and connection-focused workshop.

We bring together volunteers from across the Canberra region to craft comfort items that support patients, families and staff throughout the Canberra Health Services and the ACT Ambulance Services. Our Goodies are sent to hospitals and health care centres across the ACT.

Beyond crafting, we strengthen community wellbeing by facilitating free and inclusive meet-ups, workshops and outreach programs that help people connect, learn and contribute in meaningful ways. We work with culturally diverse communities, people at risk of social isolation, schools and universities, fostering connection through creativity.

GOG’s initiatives help support mental health and community resilience, and our therapeutic comfort items demonstrate the value of compassionate, community-driven care.
