Alliance for Journalists’ Freedom is governed by six Board members and managed by two staff members based interstate. As a result, careful prioritisation of project opportunities is required. Its mission is:
- Defending media freedom
- Supporting professional, ethical journalism in Australia and the region
- Strengthening journalism infrastructure, standards, and future pathways
It brings extensive sector credibility and networks, as well as able to tap into deep knowledge of live policy, advocacy, and journalism practice challenges.
