What course do I enrol in?

The initiative is co-taught across all courses, creating a vibrant mix of learners from across all areas of ANU. Enrol in the course that you meet the pre-requisites for:

  • AATD1001 (for first-year students in any degree)
  • AATD2001 (for students who have completed at least 24 units in any degree)
  • AATD3001 (for students who have completed at least 72 units in any degree)
  • AATD6001 (for postgraduate students with permission from their program convenor)
  • LAWS4001 (for Law (ALLB) students, as an Honours elective)

How is the course graded?

Students who successfully complete the AATD-badged courses will be awarded a “Course Requirements Satisfied” (CRS) grade. A CRS grade counts towards the credit requirements (ie 6 units), but is not used in the calculation of a Grade Point Average, or towards an Honours Grade.

Students enrolled in the LAWS-badged course will be awarded a grade, which will contribute towards the Honours Calculation. The learning tasks for AATD and LAWS students are for all intents and purposes the same, and the variations for LAWS students are listed in the assessment for each learning task.
