WikiCon Australia 2026, organised by Wikimedia Australia, is a national conference for the Australian Wikimedia community held in Canberra from 10–12 April 2026, combining pre-conference events, a two-day program, and optional online participation.

The main conference takes place at the National Film and Sound Archive of Australia (1 McCoy Circuit, Acton ACT 2601), with additional sessions at the National Library of Australia (Parkes Place, Canberra) and AIATSIS (51 Lawson Crescent, Acton). Key events include a pre-conference library tour and an Indigenous data sovereignty panel (Friday), followed by two full days of talks, workshops, and collaborative sessions on topics such as AI, Wikidata, digital archives, and community engagement, alongside networking opportunities and a Wikipedia 25th birthday celebration.

Registration is required via the Meta-Wiki event page (with a deadline of 3 April 2026), where participants can sign up for in-person or online attendance and receive confirmation and event details directly from organisers.
