Abundant Water delivers Adaptive Edge Training in collaboration with the ANU McCusker Institute
Abundant Water, in collaboration with the ANU McCusker Institute, is offering a three-part Adaptive Edge Training series, equipping leaders with practical tools to navigate uncertainty and complexity in real-world contexts. This partnership combines Abundant Water’s expertise in community-driven innovation with the Institute’s commitment to transdisciplinary education and leadership development for social impact.
About Adaptive Edge Training
Backed by almost two decades of frontline innovation in complex environments, Adaptive Edge is a hands-on program designed for leaders who must deliver outcomes in environments where priorities shift, resources are limited, and complexity is high.
Across three focused workshops—Leading Through Change and Uncertainty, Building Adaptive Organisations, and Governing for Complexity—participants will learn to:
- Make decisions with incomplete information
- Build momentum when complexity stalls progress
- Govern adaptively while fostering innovation and resilience
Why This Matters
Our world is increasingly being defined and redefined by rapid transitions—technological, economic, environmental, and social. Only by developing the capabilities and capacity of leaders across all sectors will we be able to translate our collective knowledge, experience, skills and resources into real-world solutions and impact.
By integrating Abundant Water’s experience in adaptive practices with the McCusker Institute’s transdisciplinary approach, the training empowers participants to lead effectively in dynamic environments. This collaboration reflects a shared dedication to strengthening leadership capacity and developing future change makers that are tackling complex societal challenges.
