Curious about a place where social change and transdisciplinary thinking come together on campus? This is it.

Introducing McCusker Institute's SoCIETIE Initiative — a 6-unit course open to any student, in any degree, year, or session, with no prerequisites. Turn something you care about into a real project that creates change in your community, while building skills that complement whatever you're studying. Choose the workshops and projects that fit your timetable, slotting into your degree as an elective, not a detour from it.

Join our general information session, 12–1pm at the Kambri Gallery, and see what the course has to offer. We'll cover study-for-credit options and our Skills for Social Change Certificate (not for credit), then open the floor for discussion.

All welcome, curious friends included.

For Students

Students can attend this event as part of a KNoT, our Knowledge and Being Workshops that can contribute to course requirements. KNoTs are workshops designed to help students develop the skills, knowledge, and ways of being that are essential for working in complex, real-world contexts.
