The ANU McCusker Institute Front Room offers a dedicated space and time, for our growing cohort of people to come together informally to learn and reflect on each other's practices, motivations and challenges. We invite all who are connected with the McCusker Institute - students, fellows, affiliates, partners, staff - or anyone who is interested in building a shared collaborative culture to enable social change, to keep in touch with our community and contribute to our development.
The Front Room takes place once a month on a Monday, with a separate monthly session for just academic staff once a month on a Friday at the McCusker Institute (John Yencken Building). Our first session Monday 20 April will introduce the concept in more detail. We hope you can join us!
The format is intentionally low-key — designed to build genuine connection across the cohort while also helping McCusker Institute better understand the questions, challenges and opportunities emerging across our community.
For Students
Students can attend this event as part of a KNoT, our Knowledge and Being Workshops that can contribute to course requirements. KNoTs are workshops designed to help students develop the skills, knowledge, and ways of being that are essential for working in complex, real-world contexts.
