Entrepreneurship Club (EC) Hackathon

The EC Hackathon gives students the chance to dive into real-world problem solving, working in fast-paced teams to build ideas that matter. This experience blends creativity, critical thinking and teamwork, and is ideal for those looking to explore entrepreneurship in action. It is more than just a weekend event, it is a launchpad for innovation and collaboration.

Students are encouraged to come with an open mind and a willingness to collaborate.

Ahead of the hackathon, we recommend:

• Thinking about an area or issue they care about
• Familiarising themselves with how hackathons work (no formal research required)
• Being available across the full 48-hour period, with the expectation of working approximately 25 to 30 hours in total

The specific theme or problem area for the hackathon will be released closer to the event date. Students are also required to have some level of technical skills that would enable them to contribute towards building a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) as part of a team.
