Supporting academics with inclusive & equitable curricula, teaching and learning#

Supported by funding from the Australian Centre for Student Equity and Success (ACSES) Large Grants program, his study explores how academic educators view the challenges and opportunities of creating inclusive curricula and equitable teaching at scale. While much is known about equity students, less is known about educators’ readiness and approaches to inclusive teaching. Using a mixed-methods, interdisciplinary, and national approach, the study will gather insights from educators, equity practitioners, academic developers, and senior leaders. Case studies from six universities and national roundtables will inform recommendations for institutional change, professional development, and practical teaching strategies, strengthening the evidence base on how to support equity in higher education teaching and learning.
