Nusrat Ahmed, Curator of the South Asian Gallery at Manchester Museum, UK, shares lessons from a museum on a mission to become the most inclusive, imaginative, and caring in the world. Central to that mission is a deep commitment to social justice — most visibly in the Museum's South Asian Gallery, co-curated by 30 members of the South Asia Gallery Collective, a community of South Asian heritage speakers, artists, and advocates.

This event series is led by Sejul Malde, McCusker Institute Affiliate, the Collaborative Research Initiatives Manager, College of Arts and Social Sciences, ANU & the Strategic Partnerships and Initiatives Lead, Cobeo

Sejul works at the intersection of research, partnerships, and collaborative culture-building. Alongside his role at ANU, he co-leads Cobeo, a research-based initiative helping people and organisations navigate collaboration more effectively — making the often invisible dynamics of working together visible, and giving teams practical tools and language to address them. His background spans the cultural and community sector, corporates, think tanks, policy, and philanthropy, with a consistent focus on people, values, and building collaborative capability for social good.
