Overview
Join us for an evening of critical and engaging discussion about how we can best support women and gender diverse students to thrive at ANU.

Come along to First Year Experience (FYE)'s collaboration panel event with the ANU Women's, Intersex, and Gender-diverse (WIG) Department!

This will be an exciting evening for those interested to hear from accomplished panellists who work to support women and gender diverse people at ANU. We'll be discussing ways in which we can ensure that women and gender diverse people are able to thrive personally, academically and professionally without risk of harm. We'll be joined by inspirational leaders from across the university, including Dr Fiona Scotney (Kim Jackson Scholarships Program) and Emily Yam (ANUSA Senior Student Assistance Advisor), among others!

Preparation

The preparation for your Campus KNoT will be different, depending on what it is.

The suggested preparation is to "do your research" into the activity/event. For example, if you are going to see a guest speaker present, do a little background research, such as spending some time reading their latest work, finding out about them (ie wikipedia, etc), or listening to an interview with them.

For Students

Students can attend this event as part of a KNoT, our Knowledge and Being Workshops that can contribute to course requirements. KNoTs are workshops designed to help students develop the skills, knowledge, and ways of being that are essential for working in complex, real-world contexts.
