As part of the CSI UWA Research Webinar Series, join us to explore whether street vending can meaningfully reduce multidimensional poverty, that is assessing not only income but also housing, education, and access to services. In doing so, this webinar sheds light on the complex socio-economic barriers that constrain vendors’ ability to achieve lasting improvements in their well-being.
Speaker
Donella Caspersz is an Associate Professor in Management and Organisations at the University of Western Australia Business School, where she also serves as Director of UN PRME (Principles for Responsible Management Education). Her work sits at the intersection of management and employment relations, with a particular focus on family business. Donella is also deeply committed to advancing excellence in higher education teaching and learning, bringing both scholarly insight and practical expertise to her research and the classroom.

Preparation
The suggested preparation is to "do your research" into the activity/event. For example, if you are going to see a guest speaker present, do a little background research, such as spending some time reading their latest work, finding out about them (ie wikipedia, etc), or listening to an interview with them.
