Please join our Campus Partner ICEDS for this year’s ANU Energy Update to hear about recent developments in energy transition research.

This annual event brings together energy researchers, policymakers, industry and the public to discuss energy sector developments and present an update on trajectories to decarbonisation. The focus of this year's Update is Getting to Net Zero: Unlocking Domestic and International Opportunities.

Note that this will be a hybrid event with the option to attend in-person at The Australian National University campus or Online. A tea and coffee break will be provided for in-person participants.

Further details on the panellists are available on the registration page: ANU Energy Update 2025 event details

Preparation

The preparation for a Community KNoT will be different, depending on what it is.

The suggested preparation is to "do your research" into the activity/event. For example, if you are going to see a guest speaker present, do a little background research, such as spending some time reading their latest work, finding out about them (ie wikipedia, etc), or listening to an interview with them.

For Students

Students can attend this event as part of a KNoT, our Knowledge and Being Workshops that can contribute to course requirements. KNoTs are workshops designed to help students develop the skills, knowledge, and ways of being that are essential for working in complex, real-world contexts.
